Thursday, Feb. 28

An officer was dispatched to the Lobby of UPD in reference to a damaged vehicle. The officer made contact with the complainant, who stated that sometime between 02/27/2008 and 02/28/2008 an unknown person broke the mirror off of his vehicle while it was parked in Lot 29. There are no suspects.



Friday, Feb. 29

An officer was dispatched to an off-campus location in reference to a report of assault. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant, who stated that on 02/29/2008 at approximately 2:45 am he was assaulted by an unknown male in Lot 21. There are no suspects.

An officer was dispatched to Hall 16 in reference to criminal mischief. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the suspect, who admitted to breaking glass from a door in the Hall 16 stairwell. There is one suspect.

An officer was dispatched to Steen Hall in reference to a person with a handgun. The officer made contact with the complainant, who stated that she observed a male exhibit a handgun from the waistband of his pants. The suspect was gone upon the officer's arrival and the officer received further information that the handgun was possibly a toy. There are no suspects.

An officer was dispatched to the UPD Lobby in reference to theft. The officer contacted the complainant, who stated that while between 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on 02/28/2008 he was in the computer room located at the HPE Complex he had left his wallet unattended on one of the desk and at 1:00 p.m. on that same day he noticed that his wallet was missing along with $130 in cash, several ID'S and two debit cards. There are no suspects.

An officer was dispatched to the UPD Lobby in reference to theft. The officer contacted the complainant, who stated that on 02/28/2008 approximately 8:00 p.m. a male had walked into the convenience store located at Lumberjack Village and had taken some candy without paying for it. There are no suspects.

An officer was dispatched to the UPD Lobby in reference to a criminal mischief. The officer contacted the complainant, who stated that on 02/29/2008 at approximately 4:00 p.m. he had parked is vehicle in Lot 47 and when he returned to his vehicle at 7:30 p.m. he noticed that his tire had been cut. The complainant further advised that it may have been done by someone that he knows, because he had seen him at the UIL Basketball game. There are no suspects.
