The SFA Board of Regents met Tuesday to discuss issues pertaining to tuition and room and board fees, as well as new faculty appointments. Starting this Monday, SFA Dining has begun an awareness campaign based around Earth Day, April 22, to promote conservation and sustainability. Jill Still of Nacogdoches has been named SFA's executive director of development. Thomas, the Poet Laureate of Texas, will be at SFA today presenting his poems at a reading set up by the creative writing department at 7 p.m. in the Liberal Arts North Lecture Hall, Room 102. The internationally acclaimed Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in W.M. Turner Auditorium as the final event on the SFA College of Fine Arts' 2007-2008 University Series.
